Across America is a long journey. Good luck going up the Rocky Mountains. Going 52 days is a pretty short time to ride 3,796 miles. Don't give up riding that long way. I'm glad that you have 5 rest days. Remember to pump some air in your tires every day so they won't pop! I wish you a good ride.

How happy I was to read your email comments wishing me a successful bike
trip across the United States.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the students remarks and questions about
the trip. Many of the students provided very good advise for me to follow,
such as: "Do your best and enjoy it," "Don't give up," "Remember to
pump air in your tires," and "Be safe all 52 days." I plan to do all of those
things.
I am glad Nicole and others liked the pictures on my website (especially
the alligator). I am going to add many more pictures as I cross America.
If you are able to look at my website this summer (and even before school
ends) I'll have pictures of the Rocky Mts, the desert sections of Utah,
the Kansas prairie, crossing the Mississippi River, and much more.
I appreciate very much that you took the time to write me. I am very proud
that you all "are rooting for me." Hope to see you in Rome!
